New fragrance from Coach

How excited were we when Coach wanted us to create  paper flowers for their brand new Poppy Flower Fragrance!

Our paper flowers have been mixed with fresh to design a fun hat for the model …

Look out for the Advert in all the magazines out now – we spotted this in Elle August issue

The Original Green Vase

The original Green Vase is one of the most charming, interesting and delightful places I have ever visited. Owned by Connie Cetti ( who also happens to be Livia’s mom) it is located in Arroyo Grande California.

It is a antique store filled with vintage glass, beautiful silver trays and bowls, intricate jewelry and all kinds of finds.

The gardens are full of lush flowers, orange trees and my favorite was the amazing wall of passion vines

Each twist and turn in the garden produces another surprise, I love the little secret garden behind the anitque shed, and just wanted to sit down under the orange tree, beside the bicycle.

I will be back Connie, for tea and  scones with jam and cream!!

A Weekend in Santa Barbara

Last weekend The Green Vase scooted off to the West Coast. Although we were there for work ( a beautiful wedding which will be posted on the website soon ) we did get a chance to enjoy the quick trip.

We stayed at Livia’s home which is way up in the mountains… It takes about 30 mins to drive the long windy road from bottom to top!! Wow we were not expecting the fabulous view, the incredible cactus gardens and the wonderful house that greeted us.

Woolly Lamas in the field below the orange grove

Secret pathways amongst the cactus gardens, colorful nasturtiums growing up the trees and a little niche with a quirky face to keep an eye on the visitors! The Fleshy Cacti in dusty grey had black tips were the size of armchairs!!! Just not to be sat on!

Thank you Connie and Livia for sharing your little piece of paradise and we hope to be back soon!
